Welcome
WSAID was born in 2008 with the intention to contribute with education and prevention to decrease infectious diseases worldwide.
Since 2008, WSAID has been working in many different fields all related to prevention of transmission of infectious diseases. Our organization works with volunteers in the USA, Latin America and Africa.
We invite you to take a closer look at our projects and to contact us if you have any questions or have an idea that could contribute to decreasing the burden of infectious diseases around the world.

I was born in Cali, Colombia and I studied Civil Engineering at the Universidad del Valle. After traveling the world, I settled in South Florida where I continue to work in engineering and construction.
We founded WSAID with the aim of contributing to solving health problems that affect poor communities because we believe in the power of the human spirit.
I am a physician with over 20 years of experience specialized in parasitology and tropical medicine. I hold a MS from the University of Montpellier and a PhD in infectious diseases from the Universidad de Granada in Spain.
My life has been dedicated to fighting infectious diseases around the world. I specialize in developing novel alternatives to conventional methods to fight infection.
